To reduce ground-level ozone and smog, certain U.S. states regulate the sales of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in con- sumer and industrial products. The goal is to decrease the use of high-VOC products in consumer, commercial, and industrial applications and incentivize suppliers to create lower-VOC alternatives. WALTER offers powerful solutions for industrial applications. Whenever possible, we offer low-VOC or VOC-free alternatives to replace high-VOC products. For example, we use compressed air as an alternative to high-VOC propellants for some of our aerosol solutions. We are committed to keeping our customers informed of any restrictions on the use of our products. Below, you’ll find a list of our products and the states that restrict their use in some applications. All states provide exemptions for high-VOC products used in the manufacturing process. Contact your local air quality regula- tors to learn more about VOC restrictions that may apply in your state or county.
